Adobe, which was famous with its Flash Player and the Adobe Creative Suite has announced its plans to
eliminate 750 full-time positions in attempts to reposition itself as a
leader in the digital media and marketing. The restructuring of the company's earnings per share and potential growth in the target markets was discussed at a financial analysts meeting in New York.
Adobe announced plans to further align its business around the two growing market areas of Digital Media and Digital Marketing solutions. The company is a leader in Digital Media content authoring solutions, enabling customers to create, distribute and monetize digital content. The future plans are Adobe to become also a leader in the solutions for managing, measuring and optimizing the digital marketing and advertising.
Adobe just mentioned that it was planning to invest further in HTML5 after restructuring. According to some the changes could go even further by dropping development for Flash Player on mobiles entirely.
Today Adobe announced that both its photo software, Photoshop Elements 10 and the video software, Premiere Elements 10, are now available on the Mac App Store. The full Photoshop Elements software appearance in the Mac App Store will help anyone take advantage of stunning photo effects or utilize impressive techniques for memorable videos.
Adobe announced the general availability of Adobe TagManager. It is a new enterprise-class tag management tool that provides greater control over digital data. Some of the benefits of the new tool are a rapid deployment of advertising and marketing technologies, a centralized management of tags, a simple and streamlined approval process, and a reduction of support needs.
Adobe Systems Incorporated announced that it has acquired Auditude Inc. Auditude is a leader in video ad management and monetization technologies for premium publishers and media companies. With this acquisition, Adobe can now offer an end-to-end platform for authoring, publishing, analyzing and monetizing digital video experiences that will allow Adobe customers to maximize the quality of their video content across all IP-enabled devices.
Adobe Systems Incorporated announced the winners of the 11th annual Adobe

Adobe has finally released a Flash Player that includes full native 64-bit support for 64-bit browsers on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Flash Player 11 introduces the next generation of the technologies which will enable the developers to push the edge of the envelope for immersive experiences online. Adobe Systems has signed an agreement to acquire Nitobi Software, the creator of HTML5 mobile app framework PhoneGap and PhoneGap Build. PhoneGap is an open source platform for building cross-platform mobile applications with HTML5 and JavaScript.
After the release of Adobe Flash Player 11 the Founder and Technical Director Tim Sweeney presented the Unreal Engine 3 technology running fully inside an Adobe Flash-based environment. During the Adobe MAX 2011, Adobe’s annual conference for developers, designers and business leaders, also took place live technical demonstration of “Unreal Tournament 3,”. The first-person shooter game was visually enhanced for an even more satisfying real-time experience inside Adobe Flash Player 11.
