Creative web development

Extended Dynamic Web Store Showcase

For this showcase we used Extended Dynamic Web Store Collection which features HTML5 Data Bindings and DMXzone Database Connector to connect to our database, DMXzone Bootstrap 3 for the great page layout, HTML5 Animate CSS for the onscroll animation of the images, Sliding PayPal Shopping Cart for the purchase process and DMXzone Google Maps 2 with HTML5 Geo Location for the shop address. Additionally, we used HTML5 Data Bindings Browser Properties for the navigation menu so the page adjusts dynamically on different screen size.

Share Your Location Showcase

For this showcase we created a page that displays locations on the map. In order to do that we used HTML5 Geo Location which stores your current location when you hit the 'share location' button. Once your location is shared, the DMXzone Google Maps 2 automatically displays the last 10 shares from the database. If you don't want to share your location you can only preview the last 10 shares by hitting the button. For the storage we used HTML5 Data Bindings and DMXzone Database Connector to establish the connection and DMXzone Database Updater to insert the current location.

Weather Geo Location Showcase

For this showcase we used HTML5 Geo Location and HTML5 Data Bindings in order to filter the coordinates from a public weather feed (provided by openweathermap.org). Once the GPS status is given a green light to access the location the 'Getting your location' message hides. If the user denies to share location, a 'Please allow Geo location' message appears. In case of timeout, unhandled error and unavailable geo location an HTML5 Responsive Notify appears.

Dynamic Fullscreen Gallery Showcase

We created the gallery, with images from a local JSON file, and paging(bullets) navigation using HTML5 Data Bindings and HTML5 Data Bindings Extended Repeater. Using HTML5 Data Bindings Browser Properties we set the width and height of the gallery to match the width and height of the browser viewport. We also used orientation check. When a user loads the page into a portrait-oriented device, a message is being displayed - 'Please use your device in Landscape orientation'. Additionally, HTML5 Animate CSS is used for the fade effect when an image is changed.
