This isn't meant to be a knock at anyone, so please don't take offence, but what has happen to the COMMUNITY SPIRIT that made the dreamweaver community such a fun and exciting group to be involved with.

I am referring to the commercialisation of the community where every man and his dog seem to be releasing their extensions as commercial ones, I am all for developer making money for all there hard work but it seems to me that all enthusiasm has left the once great developers who would release a extension for free that you would be happy to pay big money in favour of creating small extension that do something that has been done a hundred times before and keeping back those extensions that where truly unique and innovative so they can sell them to the few designs and developers out there that have the money to pay for them,

I am currently working on a zip/unzip extension like the public domain* one but for running on a web server as well as the desktop, but I am in two minds about releasing it as the community seems to have lost it "FREE FOR ALL" spirit for a less appealing "FREE FOR ALL... WHO CAN PAY $50!!"

So come on people lets get back to are roots and FREE UP THE COMMUNITY.... again!!!
