When I proposed the idea (ahem) I suggested awarding a copy of whatever e-book was current; but annual subscription would be something worth fighting for.
The original idea was not self seeking glory, but designed to encourage people to post replies in the (gone quiet) forums and rewarding those who made exceptional contributions. It would also be nice if there were a means to vote for people / award them points for helping out with problems.

Not exactly el rapido on on fixing or implementing new ideas on dmxzone, which really is a shame. Maybe they should let us lot take over the forum - er, then maybe not, but at least we'd get things done!
