Conclusion

As with most books from Friends of Ed, this book is well written and fun to read. The book teaches you the basics of After Effect and Flash 8. It shows you how to to publish, create effects, work with text, use masks, create 3d content and how include audio in your projects.

The books examples can be a bit basic sometimes, it would be great if there was going to be a sequel that shows more advanced possibilities. So the downside to the book is that is should have been a foundation title, meaning that it is mainly aimed at beginners. If you are new to combining and Flash and After Effects however, this book will be a great resource to start with.
