Kevin Koch starts out by teaching you how to populate a dropdown control with database data asynchronously. Then you’ll learn how to populate a second, associated, dropdown list based on the selection made in the first dropdown. Kevin uses several advanced techniques including Ajax and ASP.NET 2.0.
After that he teaches you how to create a questionnaire or survey style of customer feedback. The user can select a rating or ranking for certain questions by using graphical stars; representing a score of 1-5, and then calculate an average from the user feedback.
Dan Wellman continues by showing how you can combine two powerful frameworks; the easiness of jQuery and the widgets of the Yahoo Interface Library (or YUI).
After that he shows how to create a compact and easy-to-use colorpicker on your webpage. Dan uses the YUI to create the color picker.
Victor Gaudioso takes over by showing you how to create a Silverlight 2.0 Video Player complete with a cool animated navigation.
