Favorites Icon extension

Description:
Insert the necessary HTML code inside the <head> section of your document to display a distinguishing icon for the web page in the Favorites menu beside the title of the document, after the users added the page to their favorites. It works on Dreamweaver from version 4 up to CS3.
UI Access:
Access this Object from the Head group (in Dreamwever CS3 this group normally isn't visibile but after you install this extension it appears again and it is called Favorites Icon) of the Objects palette or from the HTML -> Head Tags submenu of the Insert menu in the main Dreamweaver window.
the Insert Favorite Icon works in this way: when you click on the Insert Favorite Icon button in the Head group (in Dreamwever CS3 this group normally isn't visibile but after you install this extension it appears again and it is called Favorites Icon) of the Objects palette (you can do this also via the Insert menu as stated above) pops up a window asking you where is the .ico file you want to use as favorite icon, the .ico file has to be under your site root and has to be 16x16 pixel and 16 or 256 colors.
Please note that if you don't select any .ico file the extension doesn't add any code to your page.

Matteo Nicoletti
I work as free-lance web designer in Firenze, Italy. My customers are mainly advertising agency so I'm 33% graphic designer (to understand what they want) and 77% web designer (to make what they want). My preferred programming language is ActionScript but I pass a lot of time with plain HTML and ASP/Access (they are the tool of the every day trade..). In the spare time I take one of my two Canon cameras (EOS 33 and EOS D30), some lenses and I go out to shot some pic.
